Monkee’s Davy Jones Dies at 66
Davy Jones, lead singer of the Monkees , died of a heart attack this morning at the age of 66. He was one of those pop artists one never really thinks about , like being a part of some nostalgic background noise only appearing once conjured. Yet, it’s still a shock to hear that someone who seemed perpetually locked at age 21 has died in his mid-sixties. The Monkees were formed merely to fill a 1960s-NBC harmless fun niche, mixing music and “TV safe” hijinks to meet a post-British invasion demand for such things. I used to watch Monkees reruns when I was a kid and loved their manufactured uber-pop sound ( that was before I learned Ozzy ). Outside of pop culture references and background tunes on TV, I haven’t heard Monkees songs for years. Here’s a classic featuring Davy.

Don’t Give Up, We’re Winning
Each and every Conservative, Libertarian and Independent American Citizen and Patriot must extend their unique dedication, celebration and congratulations loud and clear, because whether they believe it or not they’re winning. Our President Barack Hussein Obama, “The Chosen One” The Socialist Marxist Liberal Democrats and The Progressives are running frightened. Their bogus political ideological war of increased fabrications, with an “Alice in Wonderland” fantasy, compounded relentlessly with lies, innuendoes, strong arm tactics, and dread, has escalated into epidemic proportions. Their erroneous claims to blame past policies enacted by previous Administrations, and Administrators are playing the same ancient rhetoric to hide their failures. Their Civil War atmosphere to divide this Fantastic nation into the have and have nots which is obviously geared to develop class hostilities are failing miserably. Even though we will probably still hear and see more of this non-sense, with periodic forms of violent and non-violent demonstrations. They can run but they can’t hide from their Socialist ineptitudes, and runaway incompetence, corruption, and thievery. We the free people, of the United States of America, who believes in defending and protecting God and Country, without any compromises, are the new American Patriots. We must accept this role without any hesitation. We must never relinquish our goal of maintaining a government, of, by and for the people. We must always preserve and protect all our God Given Inalienable rights and the Constitution? We are loyal, proud supporters of this fantastic Nation, who will use every legal, peaceful means and tools possible, given to us by our intelligent, brilliant courageous forefathers, written and documented in our Constitution. Compulsory forced government control, dictatorship and political apprehension, must never be tolerated. We honor and respect with complete reverence, our precious American Flag, which is recognized throughout the world as an outstanding symbol of freedom and liberty. We support our military and all law enforcement agencies. We are the people who have the strength and courage to break free from the shackles placed upon us by the self made law of political correctness non-sense of rancid garbage. We are the individuals that must stand up and be counted. We the people must be very proud of all our achievements. Why should we be so honored, because we have accomplished the impossible? We have overcome all the negativity expressed loudly by the liberal media (Obama’s Dogs) by muffling their ignorance and arrogance. We have used the internet, developed websites; have written numerous e-mails, made phone calls, wrote letters, and use any and all unedited forms of communications, at our disposal, to spread the truthful words of American liberation, enhancing less government control over our lives. We have no longer accepted the words of fake manipulative demigods and puppets. We freed ourselves from the main stream news media, corrupted reporters and idiot mindless moderators. The Socialist Marxist Liberal Democrats have finally met their Waterloo and are on the run. They are so frightened and sacred of the Silent Majority that they finally heard their Loin’s roar, spreading truth, justice and the American way! The proof is the liberal media has certainly increased their bogus hidden misplacement of the truth, and harassment, approved by Obama and the Socialist Progressives, preaching their self proclaimed believes without substance, in endorsing their agenda. They obviously don’t hide their like, infatuations, admiration and affection for our President Barack Hussein Obama, “The Chosen One”. They made sure he is well protected, from his bungling. Their forced, misguided direction of extended truths is escalating their despicable treacherous and horrendous abominations. They hide pertinent information from the public concerning all that is unholy, a total disgrace to their profession. They are the dancing monkeys of the organ grinder, begging for their master, entertaining any audience that is willing to listen. We the people are winning; every word of truth, liberty and freedom. How do we know this, because we are constantly being viciously attacked by these social heathens of untruthful manipulation? Patriot Websites are being assaulted. Written articles are being discredited. Social communications and networks are being compromised with Huge Brother monitoring and harassing suspensions of accounts. They try to intimately stymie all those who legitimately question the motives and unorthodox ideologies of our self proclaimed King and Queen Barack and Michele Obama, the Socialist Marxist Liberal Democrats and the Progressives. All those who criticize honestly, as free Americans are immediately abolished and silenced. This goes against all American principles, and unlawfully denies and hinders freedom of the speech. This is an obvious sign that the scales are being tipped into our Patriotic corner. If we weren’t making such an impact, then they wouldn’t be so hostile? Although we presently have the wind to our backs, and the momentum, we must also heed this warning; of never becoming so complacent that we would allow our potential victory to turn into the agony of defeat. We must be willing with unlimited undying courage and without selfishness to aggressively pick up the gauntlet and save this Country from ruin. Keep up the pressure, speak the truth, question their authority, don’t be worried and don’t be forcefully silenced. Don’t be worried or terrified of their expected intimidating name calling or labeling. Did you eve hear this expression, “Sticks and stone will break my bones, but names will never hurt me”? Appeal their unlawful and unwarranted suspensions or blockages, speak up! If they close a door open up a window, we will not be defeated. We will peacefully take back America, because this is our Country, the Land of the Free and Home of the Courageous. There were too many sacrifices made from our remarkable forefathers, and all those courageous individuals who fought throughout our history that protected our Rights and Freedoms, from tyranny. Don’t disgrace their honor of relentless unselfish valor. Remember freedom isn’t free. It’s an honor to stand united against oppressive totalitarianism. I’d rather be free to control my own destiny, then to crawl on my hands and knees living in a manipulative, maneuvering environment of subservient appeasements and dishonorable surrender. Republicans: still searching for a fight they can win.
Rep. Frank Wolf (R–VA) and I disagree on term limits. I’m a firm believer in 12 years and you’re out — while Wolf is an advocate of the 30 years and counting philosophy. (Unless Frank doesn’t have any other options, because his family refuses to spend more time with him.) But based on his courageous vote last week against the payroll tax extension, it’s safe to say we do see eye–to–eye with regard to what the media terms “bipartisanship.” This is vital because in a presidential election year independent voters are going to be bombarded with tales touting the benefits of “bipartisan cooperation” between Democrats and Republicans. The political calculation in the media is bipartisan = excellent. Conversely, refusal to compromise principles = terrible. So independents should either support “bipartisan” candidates who just happen to vote for liberal legislation or stick with the genuine article and vote Democrat. Independent voters that are concerned about the country’s continued deficit spending should not meekly accept the media’s definition of political progress, because that definition undermines everything in which they believe. This is because bills that pass Congress with bipartisan support and media approval in the days of Obama, are bills that increase spending and hasten our descent into drachma–based budgeting. And voting to extend the payroll tax cut is a perfect example. Usually Democrats believe Americans are under–taxed and only their stubborn greed stands in the way of Nirvana in America. This time Democrats support the payroll tax cut extension because passage improves Obama’s prospects for re–election. What Democrats oppose is making the extension deficit–neutral by cutting spending somewhere else to offset lost revenue. Republicans don’t like the extension because it undermines funding for Social Security, does not provide any real economic stimulus and will add approximately $100 billion to the deficit. A genuine compromise would address elements of both positions. A bill that continued the tax cut for the rest of 2012, so Obama can slide past election day, and was offset by spending cuts would give Democrats and Republicans their top priority, while forcing compromise elsewhere. Yet the “bipartisan” bill the country got extended the tax cuts with zero budget cuts. To place this in perspective, total federal spending for this fiscal year is estimated to be $3.8 trillion. A cut of $100 billion from that gusher of Chinese–backed indebtedness is less than three cents on the dollar, yet Democrats would not cut a penny. In fact this bill wipes out the measly $95 billion in deficit reduction “victory” the House GOP leadership sweated bullets to achieve last year. Wolf describes the bill as, “…shameful. The American people are right to be disappointed that the president and the Congress have walked away from every serious deficit reduction effort. They should be appalled that both sides have joined together to spend more money and weaken Social Security.” And Rep. Jeff Flake (R–AZ) hit the nail on the head, “Why is it that the only time we can come together and reach an agreement…increases the deficit or explodes spending? That’s enough to make the country weep for more partisanship.” Or if not more partisanship, at least some leadership, but that does not appear to be on the horizon either. Republican leaders were faced with a choice: defeat the extension because it increases the deficit, moves Social Security another step down the road to a welfare program and is simply irresponsible vote–buying. Knowing full well that Obama will characterize their opposition as refusing a tax cut for the middle class, while protecting the rich. Or they can choose to crater on the spending cuts offset and vote for a fiscally irresponsible bill knowing that Obama will use the bill’s passage as proof he’s fighting for the middle class, while the GOP is only interested in protecting the rich. Someone please help me find the victory here. The reality is Republicans face a hostile media that favors spending and an administration that wants to increase spending. Making the case for cuts is not going to get any simpler. If GOP leadership is unable to make the case for small spending cuts now, there is no chance they will successfully make the case for major spending cuts we must make in the near future. Meanwhile, according to the Washington Post, smug Republican House veterans who supported the “compromise” said conservative freshmen “had touched the stove and finally realized it was burning hot.” The veteran’s advice was the usual: voting for pork is the best insulation.
